Scenic Painting
Westchester Playhouse & Santa Monica College
Along with set design, scenic painting is another skill I like to highlight in my portfolio. I’ve had the opportunity to be lead scenic painter in Urinetown at Westchester Playhouse in Los Angeles as well as assistant scenic painter aiding Tom Buderwitz’s set design for Santa Monica College’s production of Dara in Spring of 2025.
Urinetown
I had the privilege of working as the Scenic Painter for the Urinetown set at the Westchester Playhouse. The scenic painting included the aging and graffitiing of the distressed water pipes walls and porta-potty.
Dara
Helped paint the distressed stone floor pattern as well as base paint for flats and pillars.
