Model Box Projects | Examples
The below are some examples of model box projects completed for my Associate Degree in Technical Theatre at Santa Monica College as well as model boxes for my set designs around local community theaters in Los Angeles. The productions include Hamlet, I and You, A Streetcar Named Desire, and Guilty Pleasures.
Guilty Pleasures
The set design concept for Guilty Pleasures involved rotating aspects, with two larger turntables stage right and stage left.
The rotating platforms helped with quick scene changes within the quippy, fast-paced comedy - going from top of show with the cruise ship staterooms to the dining hall and lounge areas.
